Homemakers Depot
Helping the Homemaker succeed

“Women, how divine your mission!” penned the poet W. R. Wallace, “for the hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world.” This well-known phrase, which holds a bit of truth, states well the significance of a mother’s work. But “rocking the cradle” is not always an easy task. Many women find the joy of motherhood and homemaking offset by weariness and frustration.

Homemaker’s Depot offers inspiration through books and other resources to strengthen your faith in God. After all, “the hand that rocks the cradle needs the Hand that rules the world.”

Homemakers Depot is a family owned and operated business that is located in the mountains of northeast Washington. We, Dan and Sue are middle-aged and are blessed with six children between the ages of 6-22. Daily life offers a good balance of humor and perplexities and we are certainly enjoying this stage of parenting. Sue is the designer of the Homemaker’s Friend Daily Planner. The planner was developed after several years of motherhood and homemaking. Since her first publication in 2010, thousands of homemakers have benefited from the daily planner.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that the New Testament is the final authority for the church and for the Christian.

We believe in the Genesis account of Creation and the fall of man. We believe in the Trinity, the Virgin Birth, salvation by faith in Christ, the soon return of our Lord, and the existence of heaven and hell.

We believe that to be saved, you must repent, believe, and receive Christ, the Son of God, as Lord and Saviour; that you must be born again and be made a new creature in Christ, created in His likeness, showing forth His virtues, and producing the good works which come as a result of His living in you.
